Estimation Process

• When this method is selected, the user initiating the estimation (the owner) will be prompted to enter four unique numeric values (1-99).

• These four values will be presented as the voting options in the voting pad.

• The results will show the distribution of votes across the four options and the list of participants.

General Purpose

This method leverages the collective wisdom of the team by providing a limited set of options chosen by the estimation owner. It's useful when trying to converge on an estimate from a range of possibilities or when seeking diverse perspectives.

Correlation with Story Points

The estimation value the owner submits is stored in the Jira “Story Point” field for the task.
